Ahead of the reveal of the cinematic trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, developer Ubisoft has revealed a very interesting bit of information about the game.
According to Ubisoft Montréal’s official Twitter account, around 15 different studios are working on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This of course includes Ubisoft Montréal as the lead studio, but then there are also 14 different co-developer studios scattered all around the world.
Exciting! An immense congratulations to our studio warriors for all the good work and passion building to that reveal. We’d also like to thank the 14 co-dev studios all around the world. You know who you are, and we’re thankful for your dedication! Skàl! pic.twitter.com/hBPpFZKkrP

For reference, it took ten different studios to develop 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and that was a behemoth of a game.
So if 14 different studios are working on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, who can say exactly how massive this game is going to be.
