Aragami, the third-person action adventure stealth indie game originally released back in 2016, is coming soon to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC in the form of Aragami Shadow Edition. You can check out the trailer below.
According to developer Lince Works, Aragami Shadow Edition includes the base Aragami game, the upcoming expansion Aragami Nightfall and all other currently released pieces of DLC for the game. The game and it’s expansion will also support full 2 player online co-op, which also happens to be cross-play enabled, but only between consoles and the PC.
The official press release for the Aragami Nightfall expansion reads:
Aragami Nightfall is a 4-chapter prequel that takes place right before the events of the base game and fills key narrative points left open in the original game. 2 new playable characters, all-new deadly shadow powers, and an expanded storyline that can all be played in single player or cross-platform online co-op are all coming soon.
Aragami Nightfall is designed around the idea of offering new challenges and more complex scenarios to experienced Aragami players. The success of the original game, with over 400 000 copies sold so far has led to substantial fanbase whose feedback of the original game helped guide the team on how to develop the additional content.
Aragami Shadow Edition will release sometime in the next few months simultaneously alongside the Aragami Nightfall expansion for $24.99. All current owners of the game on PlayStation 4 and the PC will also get a significant performance and optimization patch before the release.
