The launch of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is just around 20 days away, and Ubisoft has now officially announced all of the post launch content coming to the game over the next year.
This includes content coming with the game’s Season Pass, as well as free content that will be available to all players
First up is the Season Pass, which contains 2 full expansions and a standalone quest titled The Legend of Beowulf.
The standalone quest is pretty self explanatory, and will allow players to discover the truth behind the legend of Beowulf. This quest will be available on launch day.
The first expansion will send players to Ireland to unravel the mysteries of an ancient druidic cult, dive deep into Gaelic myths and gain influence among Gaelic Kings. This expansion is titled Wrath of the Druids, and it will be available in Spring 2021.
The second expansion will then allow players to participate in one of the most famous Viking battles in history, as they infiltrate the city of Paris as part of the Viking invasion of France. This expansion is titled The Siege of Paris, and it will be available in Summer 2021.
Free content will also be rolling out for all players in Seasons, starting with Season 1 in December 2020. This will include a new settlement area, a Viking festival, a new game mode, player skills and a bunch of different cosmetics among other things.
Season 2 will launch in March 2021, followed by Seasons 3 and 4 sometime later in 2021. The developers have also promised to keep supporting the game with additional content that has not been revealed thus far.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set for release on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, and PC on 10th November, 2020.
