The release of Fallout 76 is just a little over a month away at this point, and developer Bethesda has announced yet another piece of information about the title. The game’s map is called Appalachia.
Appalachia, for those who may not know, is a region in the United States that stretches all the way from New York, to Georgia and northern Alabama. West Virginia, the state where the game is set to take place, resides with this region. In fact, of the 13 states whose various counties and cities fall within the Appalachia regions, West Virginia is the only one that fully sits within it.
This little piece of information was announced by the official Fallout Twitter account, which also gave as a look at a sweet new melee weapon that will be present in the game, the Guitar Sword.

And no, it doesn’t play any music. It’s simply a melee weapon that you can acquire in the game, as Pete Hines was quick to point out.
You can play it like other swords, which is to say you can’t. 🙂
Weapons are weapons and musical instruments and musical instruments.
