After the release of the brand new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 earlier this week, Rockstar Games has now released a brand new set of screenshots for the highly anticipated game.
The images, seen in the gallery below, show off a bunch of different scenarios and characters from the game. These were shared across the developer’s different social media accounts, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
We see images of hunting, the gang’s camp, a shootout scene and most importantly, a full on screenshot of the original game’s beloved protagonist, John Marston.
In the game you take on the role of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch van der Linde gang, some of whose members were among the primary antagonists of the first game. In the trailer mentioned above, we see them attack trains, get into gun fights and rob a bank, highlighting some of the features and activities that could be present in the game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption and will be the third entry in the Red Dead franchise. The game was originally set to release for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in late 2017, but has since been delayed to October 26, 2018.
