The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Beta, which has been available to PlayStation 4 players since 30th August, is about to end today on that platform. But where one console will see the Beta leave, fans on another console can get their hands on it immediately.

So if you’re an Xbox One player who can’t wait to get their hands on the Expansion, or if you’re someone who still hasn’t decided they want to purchase it yet, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Because from September 2nd to the 4th, Xbox One owners can dive into the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Beta and take on the Mythical Elder Dragon Velkhana for free.

The full list of quests you’ll have access to can be seen below:

Beginners: Hunt the Great Jagras

Intermediate: Hunt the Banbaro

Experts: Hunt the Tigrex

Masters: Slay the Velkhana

Complete the Beta, and you’ll also get a free Commendation Pack of items that can be claimed in the Full Version of the game.

You can pre-load the Beta now from the Xbox Store, and no, you don’t need the base game to play it.

You can also check out the new Zinogre Trailer for the game here.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set for release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6th, 2019. The DLC will then arrive on PC in January 2020.
