To say that there is a lot of hype surrounding the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 later this year would be a massive understatement. Fans have been waiting religiously for the title ever since Rockstar Games announced the game back in 2016. And now, we have a third trailer.
The trailer takes a closer look at the Dutch van der Linde gang, whose members were some of the primary antagonists of the first game, and one of whom, Arthur Morgan, is the main protagonist of the game. We see them attack trains, get into gun fights and rob a bank, highlighting some of the features and activities that could be present in the game.
This trailer is very narrative heavy, as far as previous trailers were concerned at least, and if you want to go into this game completely blank, then I suggest that you avoid it completely. But you probably won’t do that.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption and will be the third entry in the Red Dead franchise. The game was originally set to release for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in late 2017, but has since been delayed to October 26, 2018.
